Eagle Slope Soaring November 12th, 2011

This past Saturday Gene Cope and I needed to test fly his new Esprit 4-meter wingspan Libelle H-205 sailplane. The wind was blowing about 15 mph at my house, so we opted to go to Eagle Butte for the maiden flight of the sailplane. With the sailplane's batteries charged completely, the model balanced per the instructions, and the transmitter programmed, we were ready to make the short drive to the Butte. Once at the Butte we discovered that Sander Chai, Jeremy Weintraub, Creg, Karl and Steve were also at the Butte enjoying some late fall flying.

I wanted to share a few of the photos with you. I hope you enjoy them. Also, check out the Nov/Dec issue of RC Sport Flyer (https://www.kionasubscribe.com/rcsubscribe/). You'll get a chance to read the complete review of the Libelle H-205 there. In short though, it is a great model.
