My long-time friend Meyer Gutman finally had a chance to fly his 1/2.5-scale Jantar I sailplane. I (Wil) helped Meyer buy this model from a German manufacture a number of years ago and have been anxious to see it in the air; especially since the first scale model I flew was a 1/4-scale Wanitchek Jantar I that I built in 1983. Congrats to Meyer for getting his model flying. Now, I just want to figure out how I can get him to sell it to me 🙂
