My good friend Ron Gaynor, Marietta, GA, built this wonderful looking Top Flite Beech Bonanza. He converted it to electric power by installing an E-Flite 160 motor, a Castle Creation Phoenix HV 85A ESC and two 5S 4400-mAh batteries instead of the required glow-powered engine. The Bonanza is glassed with 3/4-oz fiberglass cloth, with rivets of canopy glue throughout the entire airplane. It is painted with automotive single stage Martin Senour paint in the scheme of his dad’s Bonanza from past years. The majority of Ron’s build is documented at RC Universe. The photo’s here were taken on the 4th flight by Jerry Smith. It is a great flying airplane!
