Just off Interstate 95, In Secaucus, New Jersey, is the Meadowlands Exposition Center, which is the new site of the WRAM 2012 trade show. What an improvement over the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY—the longstanding site of previous WRAM shows. This year’s event is in a super venue that is clean, quiet and has easy access to and from the Newark International Liberty Airport. I jumped in a taxi and arrived at my hotel in less than 20 minutes, even in morning traffic. The Meadowlands Exposition Center is not only a great venue for a trade show, but it is close to quality accommodations: Courtyard Marriott, Embassy Suites, Hyatt Hotel, Holiday Inn, etc, there are at least eight excellent hotels within walking distance of the Meadowlands. There are also many restaurants for the exhibitors and the attendees to frequent, including an Outback, Houlihan’s, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Red Lobster, Chili’s, Bonefish, Tokyo Hibachi, and even a Starbucks. If you need to exercise there is even a 24-Hour Fitness center located next to the event hotel. So, if you hadn’t planned on attending this year, do so!
